Two successful events to tell you about.
Firstly we combined Macmillan Coffee Morning on 25th September with Roald Dahl day. This meant every class contributed to the success of the coffee morning. Each class performed a Roald Dahl poem from either one of his poetry books or one of his famous stories. We had book reviews and character profiles on display from year 6 and even the nursery children got involved by making some crocodiles after listening to the Enormous Crocodile. The children and teachers had very little time to prepare but they did an amazing job.
Today I held the Tiger Who Came to Tea, tea party, after school. The infant children were invited to attend and I was over subscribed as usual. The children enjoyed listening to the story and taking part in the craft activities. They all enjoyed the cupcakes and were delighted to take home the ‘favour cups’.
