Tiger is coming to tea at the Library!

Busy weekend getting ready for the Tiger Who Came to Tea, Tea party!

The children from the infant classes have been invited to join the party on Monday.  Needless to say it was oversubscribed, I only had 40 places and they were filled very quickly.

So this weekend I will be busy making a sample ‘toilet roll tiger’ (painting 40 toilet rolls orange ready for the party), cutting out the pieces for 40 finger puppet tigers as well as a sample and making and decorating 40 cupcakes for the party.

The children will be listening to the story in the library before moving into the school hall to take part in the activities.  They’ll have a light tea before they go home with a party ‘bag’.

Decorations and party wear all supplied free from Harper Collins Kids, just by sending an email and holding a Tiger Tea Party!

Past tea parties have been a great success (Gruffalo and Paddington tea parties) so I’m really looking forward to this one too!
