Mr Twit Beard Competition

Author focus for the month of September is Roald Dahl, with Roald Dahl Day being celebrated in school on 25th September.

In celebration of the Roald Dahl book, The Twits being 35 years old, the new term’s library competition is to make a Mr Twit beard.

The children can come along to the library to get a cardboard outline if they wish. They then have to decorate it with tissue paper, string, pasta or just colour it in, the messier the better.

There is an infant and junior prize which includes a copy of The Twits book, along with scratch and sniff stickers, a Twits bookmark and some sweet treats.

Look out for pictures of competition entries coming soon!
